Our current Altar Guild is a diverse group of ladies who are “sisters” in their devotion to both superior standards for our sanctuary and warm, sparkling friendship with each other.  Laughter and good humor are part of each Saturday’s session as we prepare for the 3 Sunday services.  By starting at 10:00A.M., we are finished with preparations in one hour or less.

There is an Instruction Book that walks us through each step of our preparations.  Some of our responsibilities are:

· Preparing for Sunday’s services

· Removing candle wax

· Caring for altar linens

· Polishing silver

· Gracefully “undressing” the altar while friends are visiting in the aisles

· LISTENING TO SLICES OF LIFE FROM OUR FRIENDS…UNDERSTANDING AND LOVING THEM AS WE WORK…PRIDE IN OUR CARING.

Time Restrictions?

If you feel like you can’t devote “full time” service, we welcome “part timers” or “special talents”, such as 5:00 services only, 8:00 services only, laundering linens, silver polishing, etc.
