Birds” Forum
is offered after the 8:00 a.m. service. This group is
one of lively discussion and great food!!! The goal is
a lively discussion about the ideas/beliefs presented in
the videos, our responses and exploration of what may be

Faith and Art is
a lecture class offered at various times throughout the
year. Lecturers will discuss music, poetry or
visual art and its impact on our faith. Contact:

and Life
is a discussion class that examines current issues
through the lens of faith. Whatever is in the news:
politics, popular culture, sports, business, or health,
may be the topic of this weekly discussion group as we
try to relate our faith to our lives beyond Sunday

of Faith
is an 11 session offering
for those who wish to explore their own faith, the
larger Christian faith, the Episcopal Church and St.
Matthew’s in particular. Included in this class are
introductions to various historical faith practices
of prayer, study and community. This class meets in
a collegial setting, extending over lunch. The
sessions will begin on September 18 and people need
to register in advance for these classes. The
classes will meet from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

Location: EfM Room“Playtime with Parents” is offered on the first Sunday of the month for parents of infants and toddlers who would like the opportunity to have conversations with other parents while their children play. Contact: Ms. Anne Farra. Location: Nursery  Sunday Forum
is a lecture-based class. Guest speakers and
parishioners who are educators and/or theologians
will speak on a variety of subjects from ancient to
post-post Modern Christianity. Contact: Dr. Judith

Parents
In Conversation 
“Parents In Conversation – Beginnings” is a class for
parents of young children (infant
through fifth grade) bringing up
children of faith in today’s secular
world. The class offers speakers and
parent discussions ranging from
“Starting School for the First Time” to
“How to Take Faith into Your Home”.

“Parents In Conversation – Youth” is a discussion
class for parents of middle and high
school age children. The emphasis will
be on raising children of faith in
today’s culture. Parents will meet in
an informal setting to discuss the
challenges and joy of raising
teenagers. Guest speakers may be
included, based on interests of the
