| Pastoral EmergenciesClergy and staff members can be reached through the church office phone (895-3485) during office hours. If they are out of the office, they will be glad to return messages left with the secretary. Outside of office hours, a message on the answering machine will direct your call, or a message may be left. The clergy of St. Matthew's expect to be called for pastoral care and sacramental needs of the people of the parish community. Hospital calling is a priority, but you must notify us because many hospitals do not. Communion to the ill and homebound can also be arranged. Please remember that when an emergency occurs, you should contact clergy as soon as possible. If it is after office hours, call into the church and the voice mail system will pick up. Press 1 (the answering message tells you about this option) and leave a message. As soon as you hang up, the voice mail system will call the cell phone of the clergy person on call and deliver the message.
